As wonderful as experiences of fullness, richness, bliss, gratitude, humility, compassion, dissolving into the larger Existence, etc. are, they are just experiences. They always pass. They are not “it”. They are just the sugarwater that keeps us coming back to opening up, to dissolving ourselves into God, Existence, Buddha Mind, Spirit, the Absolute.
What is left – is that in which these experiences unfold. It is that which is experiencing – this formless unborn, this space and awareness – the Absolute. That which is so close to us and so simple, that we for a long time overlook it as soon as we look for it.
