Pervasive Conceit

 

As I wrote in the previous posting, the deceit that comes out of a sense of “I” is right here these days, as obvious as my own breath.

As long as there is a sense of “I”, there is also an all-pervasive fog of conceit. Of comparing I with other – whether they are other human beings or future or past Is, of being better or worse, and so on. In an endless sickening cycle of garbage.

And this includes everything here. This whole blog, every single word, everything behind it. Sickening. And this sense of it being sickening is another conceit, as is this, and this, and this…
