Love in three forms

I notice that love can refer to three different things:

Feeling. Love can be a feeling, and as a feeling, it comes and goes. By coming and going, it may even point me to the love that’s not a feeling, and does not come and go.

Spirit noticing itself. Love is what’s here when Spirit (Big Mind/Heart) notices itself, and lives from that recognition. This one requires recognition, is independent of feelings, and is as natural and effortless as the left hand scratching an itch on the right.

What is. Love is what I am and everything is, and it can take any form. In my life, it can be confused (when I believe a thought) and may not look very kind. And it can be more clear (when there is clarity on the thoughts that’s here), and it may look quite wise and kind.

Clear love, kind action. And love doesn’t exclude any wise or kind action. Clear love acts with kindness, and with the wisdom, experience and maturity available at a human level at any one time. I find love for my illness, or notice it is love, and still take my medicines and do what’s required for health. I love my neighbors, and still ask them to be more quiet at night. I love Breivik, and still support a life sentence for him. (A life sentence is kindness in this case, since it protects society against him, and it protects him from harming himself in the same way again.)

Some things I notice about love:

Love can be a feeling, and as a feeling, it comes and goes. By coming and going, it may even point me to the love that’s not a feeling, and does not come and go.

Love is how Spirit moves when it recognizes itself as all there is. This recognition may come and go, it may be covered up by temporary identifications and beliefs. And this love is not a feeling. It’s as natural as the left hand scratching an itch on the right arm.

Love is what I am and everything is, and it looks just like what’s here no matter what it is. In my life, it’s confused when I believe a thought, and I perceive, feel and act in a quite confused way. And it’s clear when I have more clarity on the thoughts that are here, and it may look quite wise and kind.

……….
……….

– love as a feeling, comes and goes
– Spirit (BM) recognizing itself, act out of love whether feeling is there or not (all Spirit, all already love)
– awareness of it can be blocked, by beliefs
– can also be confused love (filtered through beliefs), and more clear love

Love can be noticed as a feeling, or as what I am. And awareness of this is blocked when I believe the thought that’s here.
