Witness & Centaur
When the witness is present (awareness has awakened to its nature as the “formless unborn” empty of any characteristics), it has a series of consequences…
- The small self is experienced as a seamless fluid whole (body/psyche as one whole). This is the centaur level in Ken Wilber’s terminology.
- All phenomena – the outer and inner world – is experienced as a fluid seamless whole.
- The relative (all phenomena) and the absolute (the nature of mind) is experienced as a fluid seamless whole.
- The subject (awareness) and object (content of awareness) is experienced as a fluid seamless whole.
Awareness functions in a more transdual way – in more and more areas.
This is a process and a practice. As the center of gravity includes the nature of awareness (the “ground” empty of characteristics) and the content of awareness (fluid experiences), awareness can function in a more and more transdual way in more and more areas.
