When I awaken to the holarchy of my being – as space & awareness and all phenomena (internal and external to the small self) arising in the present – it all arises as a fluid and rich tapestry. Always new, always different, always fresh.
When needed, I discern within this fluid tapestry. I can put labels on the different patterns and threads, when that seems appropriate. I can discern between what arises internal and external to this small self, when appropriate.
And I see that there is a functional difference: I can more immediately engage as/through the small self, in the world of phenomena. And I can engage with that which arises external to the small self through this small self.
