Fully Engaged

This all also reminds me that the proof is in the pudding, also for spiritual practice. If it does not bear fruits in a more full engagement in life, including in our social and ecological systems, what is the point? And we will soon realize this.

Those who see spirituality as detached, or social and ecological engagement as an “attachment”, will most likely meet a rude awakening within the next years or decades. We are likely to collectively find ourselves in a situation where noone can afford the luxury of detachment.

If we open our eyes, and our hearts, we see that we cannot afford it even right now…
