Inviting feedback and comments from readers

I am curious about who is reading this blog, so if you’d like to post a comment or feedback here – whether you are a new or regular reader – please go ahead!

Anything goes, including thoughts you have along the lines of “he’s …” and “this is …” Chances are, you are right, and seeing it may help me find it for myself as well. What is it that I am not seeing?

Also, what – if anything – do you find helpful for yourself? What would you like to see more of? Less of?

I am writing this blog mostly for my own benefit, although if someone gets something out of it beyond that, even better! You may discover something by exploring for yourself something referred to in these writings, or you may realize that “no, that’s definitely not how it is for me” which also helps you clarify it for yourself.

(With this new design, to place a comment click on the title of the post, and then on Comment in the green box appearing to the right.)

  1. I’ve been a pretty regular reader for many months. What is very helpful for me is that the reading seems to be an experience of spaciousness. The sentences usually bring consciousness into fullness in this moment. Like being born again, to use a certain kind of Christian language that I know a lot about. That is in addition to the “factual” content that links to valuable resources, like Big Mind and The Work. Thank you. I bow low at your feet in grateful appreciation.

  2. Per,

    very cool design.

just a quick suggestion, i think it would be cool if you have a link “leave a reply” or “comment” on the main page of your blog for each blog post. so readers can easily find it and they can directly go to the comment page. what happens right now is that it takes two clicks to comment. but then again, maybe it’s just me being too lazy to click 😉

    keep it flowing bro.

  3. I just found your blog today, and I haven’t had time to look through it. I found it through this site: http://blogisattva.blogspot.com/2007/01/announcement-2nd-annual-blogisattva.html

The title “Mystery of Existence” caught my eye ; )

My blog is focuses on that premise also, and is called “The Hyperaware Consciousness”–based on states of consciousness in which one is aware of internal, foundational processes of consciousness not normally experienced. Anyway, I can’t wait to read your research. = )

  4. Hi Dan – I’ll take a look. always interesting to see what people discover.

~C: Yes, I have thought the same. I’ll take a look at the code to see if I can put a “comment” link at the bottom of each post.

  5. I just ran across your blog today while looking thru some of the Blogger Help messages. (Was over there looking for a way to add a “Previous Posts” link to the bottom of my page.)

I really like your site design but have 2 suggestions:

    1. The date stamp next to your post titles almost completely blends with the background color. You might consider adjusting the color of that text up a shade or two in brightness.

    2. I always appreciate it when a blogger provides an email link somewhere so that a reader has a means of contacting the author. I know that post comments are certainly an option, but maybe not always the most suitable one depending upon what a reader might want to say or ask of the blog author.

  6. I have been reading the blog for approximately 5-6 months. I found this blog via some integral blog — can’t remember which — and read all the back archives immediately. I like the intelligent coverage of different traditions here.

  7. I’ve been reading your blog since last fall. As a student in the Diamond Approach (the path based on his work), I’ve really enjoyed and been moved by the depth, honesty, and personalness of your postings. (I had wanted to leave a comment earlier, but the absence of comments deterred me — so thanks for the invitation!)

  8. Thank you, anonymous 1 & 2…!

    intelligent… thanks 🙂

Yes, it would be nice with more comments, which is why I posted the invitation. It is nice to know that a Diamond Approach student finds this valuable (or at least enjoyable!)

  9. Tremendous blog!

It does take some exploring to figure out how to navigate your blog. I wouldn’t change much, except making commenting easier (and perhaps that has already been done).

  10. I love your blog and recommend it to others. Your new design is way cool. I must say that the tiny type is hard on these old eyes, though…. 🙂
