Finding underlying beliefs: She is doing it wrong, and I can’t tell her

Some thoughts from an inquiry exchange just now:

N. is doing it wrong.

N. should do it right.

N. should follow the instructions.

Telling her means….

It will be uncomfortable.

She will be confused.

She will resist.

She will see me as arrogant.

She will feel inferior/embarrassed.

She will feel I am directing/controlling her.

– o –

She feels I am controlling her, and that means….

She won’t like me.

It will be uncomfortable.

She will resist.

– o –

She won’t like me, and that means…

I am unlovable.

There is something wrong with me.

I will be alone.
