Connecting with the flame in the heart area of the chest (slightly up and to the right)…..
Quietly, wordlessly, the flame is noticed as white or light golden, it has a soft and gentle quality, it’s awakeness, infinite love and intelligence, infinitely creative.
I stand in front of it, sit in it. I bring my body and mind to it, as it is – painful memories, afflicted emotions, identified mind, illness in the body.
Quietly, wordlessly, the flame is noticed as love, awakeness, presence, this body-mind is noticed as love, awakeness, presence.
Quiet, wordlessly, there is a discernment between the true (truer!) nature of this body-mind as love, awakeness, presence, and how this body mind show up when mind is identified (confused, reactive, hurt, wounded, congested) and how it appears to identified mind (solid, real, isolated, what “I” am).
Quietly, wordlessly, there is a noticing of the difference between the silence and silent activity of the flame, and the apparent confusion and activity of identified mind.
Quietly, wordlessly, there is an image of the love and intelligence of the flame, silently and creatively working to bridge the gap, moving towards bringing identified mind home, towards mind recognizing itself as love, awakeness, presence, functioning in the world more closely aligned with its true(r) nature, living from more sincerity, integrity, honesty.
Quietly, wordlessly, there is a label of this flame, the true (truer) nature of this body-mind, as Christ. (And a knowing that for you it may be Krishna or another appearance of the aspect of our true nature that bridges the universal and personal.)

Draft 5
Connecting with the flame in the heart area of the chest (slightly up and to the right)……
I notice it’s light golden, soft, gentle, awakeness, infinite love and intelligence.
I stand in front of it, move into it, sit in it. I bring my body and mind to it, as it is, with it’s hurt and confusion, emotions, images and thoughts held as true.
This flame is love, awakeness, presence, and this body and mind is love, awakeness, presence, whether a thought says this body is healthy or ill, this mind is clear or identified.
This flame is love, awakeness, presence, it recognizes the body and mind as love, awakeness, presence, and this body and mind recognizes itself as love, awakeness, presence.
This flame discerns between what it is – love, awakeness, presence, and this body and mind as love, awakeness, presence, and how it sometimes appears – as a body that’s healthy or less healthy, a mind that’s nonidentified or identified.
There is a very quiet, gentle invitation here, for the body-mind to recognize its true nature as love, awakeness, presence, and for it to recognize how it appears as a consequence of identified mind – that it may appear to itself as something else, and that wounds etc. are created from this too.

Draft 4
Connecting with the flame in the heart area of the chest (slightly up and to the right)……
I can notice it’s love, awakeness, gentle, soft, infinitely loving and intelligent.
I can bring my body into the flame, trusting the flame to do it’s thing. I can bring identified mind to the flame.
I can bring my body into the flame, knowing that the flame will differentiate what’s real (love, truth) from what’s temporary (appearances, illness, identifications).
I can bring identified mind to the flame, knowing the flame will differentiate what’s real (love, truth) from what’s temporary (identifications, reactive emotions, images and thoughts held as true).
This mind is already love, awakeness, presence, and this love, awakeness, presence can differentiate between how the mind is when it’s consciously aligned with this, and when it’s temporarily identified. By bringing it into the flame, something happens, the light of truth shines on it, there is an invitation for it to reorganize in a way that’s gentle, loving, appropriate, aligning more consciously with what is.
The body too is already love, awakeness, presence, and this love, awakeness, presence differentiates how a body tends to function when it’s more consciously aligned with this, and when it’s not (somewhat confused, congested). By bringing it into the flame, the light of consciousness, love and truth shines on it, and there is an invitation for it to reorganize in a way that’s gentle, loving, appropriate, aligned more consciously with what is. (That is not to say that illness is incompatible with presence and love recognizing itself as it. Illness and love may well recognize itself as this body, and as any illness that may be there, and the illness may still be there. Nothing needs to change.)

Draft 2
Connecting with the flame in the heart area of the chest (slightly up and to the right)……
I can invite it to enhance itself.
I can notice its gentleness, that it’s love, that it will burn away whatever is from confusion, whatever isn’t true, that nothing truly valuable will be lost.
I can bring my body into the flame, allowing the flame to (gently, lovingly) burn away what doesn’t serve me, illness, identifications etc.
I can bring identified mind to it (reactive emotions, images and thoughts taken as true), inviting whatever is not true and real to (softly, lovingly) burn away.

Draft 1
A few things I have explored recently:
With Pamela W.: The flame right side of the chest, sit inside it – allow my body (illness), afflicted emotions, fearful images and thoughts to burn away.
With Barry: The light golden flame in the heart of Christ, and bringing anything troublesome – health, emotions, images, circumstances – to it. This is a very gentle, soft flame of infinite intelligence and love.
And also a reminder from Espen: Bring any memories from your life to the flame, allowing it to burn away. (Allowing the emotional charge around each to burn away.)
…….
– be with it with love, aware it’s impermanent, allow it to have its life
