What we (think we) know about someone vs their actual life

What we know about someone is tiny compared with their life and what’s actually going on.

And what we know about someone is what we think we know about that person. It’s often their persona and what they show the world. Reality is different.

That’s how it is with life in general.

What I know about the world is tiny compared with life itself. And what I think I know is different from what’s actually going on.

It even applies to myself. What I know about myself is tiny compared with my actual life. And what I think I know about myself is different from what’s actually going on.

This helps open my mind and heart. We are all struggling, and we don’t always know the struggle of others, and we can never really know it. What I think I know about anyone or anything is tiny compared to what’s actually going on, and reality is always different from my thoughts about it.

That doesn’t mean I should try to get to know someone, or learn about the world. It just means that I hold what I think I know lightly. I know life is more than and different.
