There is a blessing in the middle ground, including when life could be both better and worse – which it always can be, at least in our imagination.
It means there is room for improvement, for something to sink our teeth into. There may be discomfort suggesting changes we want to make in our life, and also pointing to stressful and likely unexamined thoughts.
Some things are also OK or even good, according to our ideas about them. This gives us a safe harbour to explore from. It allows some freedom and space to create changes.
