In the Headless Way Zoom calls, Richard Lang sometimes asks:
What do you enjoy about headlessness today?
Even if I haven’t been on that many Headless Way Zoom calls, I find the question lives in me. (The meetings are great, it’s more about my energy levels and brain fog.)
Today, what I notice I enjoy is the fullness and completeness of it. Nothing is missing. No matter where I look, nothing is missing. My nature is all of it, complete, whole, full, without boundaries, without beginning or end in time (that I can find), and so on.
Of course, at a human level, a lot is missing if I use a conventional mindset. My brain doesn’t work so well. My body struggles a lot. I have energy for just the essentials and not much more. I have a lot of traumas. Parts of the roof fell down. We are in an ecological crisis. And so on.
It’s endlessly fascinating to explore the different aspects of my nature, how it relates to my human self (and how my human self relates to it!), how to invite more of my human self to align with a conscious noticing of it (AKA heal, mature), how to talk about it, the many different ways to talk about it, and more.
