A part of me has a kamikaze orientation to spirituality and healing.
Whatever I am currently exploring, I tend to go fully and wholeheartedly into it.
When it comes to healing, that sometimes means that I overcook myself.
It releases so much that I find it difficult to deal with and it impacts and destabilizes my daily life.
It’s not wrong, but it’s also not wise – or kind to myself – to continue doing it.
WAYS TO HELP NOT OVERCOOK MYSELF
So what can I do to make the healing journey a little smoother for myself?
I ask life – the divine, the consciousness I am – for a gentler process, for deep healing in a gentle way. I set that intention and let life, and friends, know it.
I focus on healing my relationship with it all, with whatever is unhealed in me, with life, with whatever is challenging to me. I find that’s more important than healing (other) specific issues. It comes first.
I focus on finding peace with what is, my life as it is. Living my daily life as it is.
I explore what’s behind the obsessiveness – the fears, stressful beliefs, ideas of not being enough, and so on. If there is a compulsion, there is a wound and stressful unexamined beliefs, there is a sense of not being enough.
I mostly invite healing in more gentle ways, in ways I cannot so easily overdo – qigong, Breema, ho’oponopno, tonglen, parts dialog, and so on. (I want to do more qigong and Breema, it feels deeply nourishing for me which is what my system seems to want.)
I engage in potent healing practices – the ones that tend to bring up a lot – for short periods at a time, whether it’s TRE, Vortex Healing, or something else.
When I do Vortex Healing for myself, it makes sense to ask for what, when, and how long. With the asking, I mean asking with the aid of a pendulum.
For instance, we channeled Aliveness & Harmonics for our brain and nervous system (CNS, PNS) last night, in the Vortex Healing class I am in (Manifesting Intention). My system soaked it up like a sponge, it intuitively felt important to me, I slept very deeply and woke up feeling more like myself again and with a zest for life. It’s tempting to channel more and a lot, which is my old pattern.
I channeled it for myself again this morning, for about a minute, and again my system seemed to soak it up like a sponge. I took a break and asked the divine, with a pendulum (my fingers as if they hold a pendulum), how much this VH tool may help my system. I got a ten out of ten which rarely if ever happens, it’s clearly an important component for me right now.
I then asked if I should channel more now, and got a zero out of ten, a “no”. It’s enough for now, and I’ll check again tomorrow or one of the coming days.
I want to continue to do this. I want to ask if a particular approach is helpful for me now, at this moment, and if around eight or more, I’ll do it. If so, I’ll also ask for how long, in minutes, I should do it.
