I am a female journalist who has written for National Geographic, The Guardian, and similar publications. I am in Iceland and hire a scientist to coordinate a project with me, and also a team of top-notch scientists and journalists. We map toxins in the air, water, soil, and food – the amount, type, where it comes from, and impact on human health and the web of life. The goal is systems change, and we use an understanding of systems dynamics to seed the social change and allow it to ripple out. We start in Iceland since it’s an island, relatively small, and a good place to get experience and refine our approach.
CONTENT OF EXPERIENCE IS ALWAYS CHANGING
This is one of the dreams where I am someone else than in waking life. That’s a reminder that the content of experience always comes and goes, and none of it is what I more fundamentally am.
WAKING LIFE
In waking life, this dream reflects some of my passions since my mid-teens – sustainability, systems views and dynamics, and reorganizing ourselves individually and collectively in a way that’s more life-centered and aligned with the realities of this seamless living planet we are part of. For a while, I also worked as a coordinator of a community organization with that focus.
ALL AS ME
All the elements and dynamics of a dream are also me, they reflect something in me. In this case, I assume the toxins are wounds, traumas, and hangups. In other words, any part of me still operating from separation consciousness.
Over the last few days, I have stayed with inviting the divine to profoundly transform my whole system to align more thoroughly with oneness.
More specifically, I have noticed all – capacity, energies, sense experiences – as Amma, rested in and as that noticing, and invited Amma to do as she wants with all of it, with a slight intention for it all to profoundly transform to be more aligned with oneness consciously noticing itself.
The dream seems to reflect that intention, invitation, and process.
In the dream, the scientists I am coordinating the project with is female, like Amma in her physical form, like the part of me that may be helping me – the conscious and intentional side of me – with this project.
