Whenever we have the grace to say YES! to our circumstances, and actively to will (rather than passively to acquiesce in) whatever happens, why then there springs up that real and lasting joy which Eastern tradition calls ananda.

I love this. I also find it fascinating how there are different flavors, variations, and aspects of this.
One is surrender. How is it to surrender to this situation, to what’s already here? How is it to drop resistance? Complaints? Even for a moment?
How is it to accept what’s already here? How is it to accept what’s already accepted by life, space, the consciousness I am?
How is it to find gratitude for what’s here? How is it to find gratitude for it as an expression of the same life as I am expression of? How is it to find genuine gifts in it?
How is it to meet my experience, as it is here and now, with kindness?
How is it to actively want what’s here? How is it to lean into it?
How is it to identify my stressful thoughts about what’s here, investigate them, and find what’s genuinely more true for me?
How is it to dialog with the parts of me that don’t want what’s here? How is it to hear what they have to say? To listen to their concern for me, their love? Can I find a way to more consciously be on a team with these parts of me? How is it to thank them for protecting me? For their love for me?
How is it to take one of these and explore it over time, through different situations?
If I try one or a few, which one seems to resonate right now? After staying with it for a while, does it open for another? For instance, if I sincerely thank a part of me for protecting me, does that help me actively wanting what’s here as it is?
