A group of people in India are going about their lives. It’s a rich, swirling movement.
This was more of a dream image or short sequence than a full story-driven dream.
I am in India, so that’s one reason for the dream. Another is that I watched The Namesake by Mira Nair last night, and Monsoon Wedding the day before. (I loved both.)
In this dream, there was no “I”. Or, rather, the “I” was the group going about their lives and the awareness of it all. It’s a reminder that the content of experience, the full content of experience, can change and this awakeness is still here forming itself into all of it. There is a kind of “I” in it all, there is also no I with an other anywhere in it.
This is also a reminder that the swirling richness and ordered chaos of India is in me. It mirrors parts of me at a human level. I am this too.
