Dream: Group of woman healers

I am on a road trip in the US South West and come across a small and diverse group of female healers. They are of different ages and from different backgrounds and cultures. They see right through me. One said I had been there before, maybe six years ago, but I was not ready. I can’t remember. This time, I am ready, and it has to do with me being at Amma’s ashram last winter. They give me medicine of different kinds that will reorganize my bodymind. I trust them without needing to think about it. They know me and my process and what’s needed without needing to tell them anything. The process started from the medicine and treatment – which involves touch, hot springs, and more – aligns what’s here, this bodymind, with reality at a very detailed level. I am also reminded of the more natural merge and intend healing I did more of some weeks ago.

This is my dream – from this morning and in waking life. It’s what I wish for. To be seen, understood, for readiness, for a process of healing of body and mind. I wish for it in life, and more than that, I wish for it from myself.

I wish to find it in myself. And really, I wish to more deeply take in that it’s already here.

MORE IN DETAIL

Day residue: Talking with AL who is an amazing female healer.

In the dream, our connections and healing was simple, immediate, visceral, and informed by deep earthy wisdom and also a living recognition of all as the divine / consciousness.

At the end, I was reminded of the simplicity of my more natural way of doing healing – align with the divine and intend. And also that healing for me is an aligning with reality for the whole bodymind. A reorganization.

Why the US? Maybe because I have a deep connection with the land there, especially west of the Rockies. It feels deeply healing for me to be there for that reason.

Why women? Likely because that’s what I need for healing. I need to deepen into the feminine orientation of allowing, accepting, nurturing, and so on.

Why diverse? Because diversity offers multiple approaches. Also, healthy systems are resilient and diverse.

Why Amma’s ashram? The shifts I went through there may have made me more ripe for continued shifts.

Why now? I am not sure. I have had similar healing dreams through my life so it may be more of a theme than a big shift.

Active imagination: I connect with the female healers from the dream and take in the healing they are doing for me. I rest in and as it.

Active imagination II: What advice do you have for me? Trust yourself. Slow down, trust, and follow what you know.

I am also taking some time to invite in that alignment with reality from the dream, seeing my body and mind aligning closer with reality at a detailed level.

Update: Later in the same day, I still feel supported by this group of healers.

AI NOTES

I asked AI for feedback on this dream. Here is the response. It seems accurate enough.

Readiness for Embodied Healing

This feels like a powerful dream of readiness for embodied healing.

The road trip suggests an unfolding life journey rather than a planned spiritual project. You unexpectedly encounter a diverse community of female healers—not one authority figure or tradition, but a kind of collective feminine intelligence appearing through different ages, cultures, and forms. They immediately recognize you, which contrasts strongly with experiences of having to explain yourself, prove what happened, or persuade others to understand.

The central movement seems to be from managing the process through thought to trusting an intelligence that already knows what is needed. The healing is not primarily conceptual or psychological. Medicine, touch, heat, water, and the body are central. Even “aligning what is in you with reality at a very detailed level” suggests that awakening or insight is being brought into the smallest bodily and psychological patterns—not just understood globally.

The earlier visit, when you were “not ready,” gives the dream a developmental quality. Something may have become possible now that was not possible six years ago. Amma’s ashram seems to symbolize or represent a recent softening, opening, surrender, or renewed receptivity to the maternal/feminine dimension of spiritual life.

It also has a striking wish-fulfilment element, but not in a trivial sense: after years of illness, inadequate help, conflict, and people refusing responsibility, here are people who:

  • see you accurately;
  • believe what they see;
  • require no exhausting explanation;
  • know how to help;
  • offer several complementary forms of healing;
  • and can be trusted enough that vigilance is unnecessary.

Perhaps the deepest image is not simply “being cured.” It is being met so completely that the bodymind can stop defending, explaining, and directing the process—and allow itself to be reorganized in accordance with reality. That connects very directly with your larger theme of gradually learning to live from and as what was recognized in awakening, now reaching into the organism at a fine-grained level.
