View, emotions, body, behavior

As a thought is taken as true, it’s expressed in view, emotions, body and behavior.

The world is labeled, filtered, interpreted and understood as if the thought is true (down to the most basic labels and interpretations of the world).

Emotions respond and react as if the thought is true (fear, anger, grief and sometimes even joy and exhilaration).

The body reacts and responds as if the thought is true (tension, fatigue, posture etc.).

And I live my life in the world as if the thought is true (choices, reactions, what I seek and avoid).

And as this belief is inquired into, the degree it’s resolved and cleared up is expressed in each of these ways. If my conscious view seems clear, and yet my emotions, body and behavior still follows the beliefs, all it’s telling me is that there is more left. The thought is still believed. There is an invitation for a more finely grained exploration and inquiry into the thought, and possibly also related and underlying assumptions.

Beliefs are expressed and resolved in view, emotions, body and behavior.
